My friends
and I were on our way to the playground. Suddenly, it started to rain heavily.
Luckily, Mrs
Maniam, who was staying nearby, saw us. She invited us to take shelter In her
house. All of us were thankful for her invitation.
Mrs. Maniam was
very kind to us. She gave us towels to dry ourselves off. Then she served us
with cakes, cookies and drinks. We had a lot of fun
Soon, the
rain stopped. We thanked her for her kindness. We continued our journey to the
playground.
